The original soundtrack to George Lucas's Star Wars (Episode IV: A New Hope), the first film in the saga, released in the US in 1977 (Japan release 1978). Composer John Williams won the Academy Award for Best Original Score for this work. It features many themes that define the Star Wars saga, including "Main Title," "Imperial Attack," and "Princess Leia's Theme." Cantina Band" theme also originates from this work.
The audio source is based on the 1977 soundtrack, remastered by Shawn Murphy and Skywalker Sound, utilizing the 192kHz/24bit master released in 2018.
